Due to the ongoing economic crisis in Sri Lanka, hospitals are running out of life saving medicines and hospital supplies, leading to the loss of innocent lives.
RCOBECF is requesting the valuable support of our local community to purchase essential medical supplies. We were able to obtain the urgently needed medical supply list from the Sri Lankan Ministry of Health, locate a manufacturer (Bio-Labs) in Pakistan (through the Sri Lankan High Commission in Pakistan) who is willing to provide some of the supplies with a 20% humanitarian discount.
All items will be delivered directly to the hospitals that needs the supplies. Our internal volunteers manage the hand-off of donations directly to the beneficiaries and ensure that we have transparency and control over how the donations are distributed in Sri Lanka.
